People from Indonesia and Suriname have also come to live in the Netherlands. At one time, these countries belonged to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The Netherlands Antilles and Aruba, a group of islands in the Caribbean, still belong to the Netherlands. That’s why many people from the Netherlands Antilles live in the Netherlands and have a Dutch passport.
